ERP Technical Consultant - Infor

Infor Alfa-Beta works with clients within the Food & Beverage industry to implement Infor software and industry standard processes with the aim of reducing costs increasing customer service and creating frameworks for enhanced collaboration and business efficiency. To strengthen our Infor Alfa-Beta team, we are looking for a motivated, creative and enthusiastic (Senior) ERP Technical Consultant.

You will be responsible for delivering application consulting services which include process design, application configuration, testing, client training on Infor software, technologies and tools in accordance with standard implementation methods. Developing ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and for providing clients with “industry best practice” recommendations is also an important part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

• You will focus in a team on the implementation of Infor M3 Food & Beverage solutions in close cooperation with the customer, your fellow consultants and the SR Business Consultants
• Lead the information gathering and design process for a client implementation, including the development of functional business requirements and solution scope documents. Configure a client business solution / Configure the system
• Installation of databases (SQL Server or Oracle)
• Setting-up and taking care of the clients’ systems
• Execution of Data migration in ERP domain
• Support setting up System Environment (Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server)
• Performance Tuning
• Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations
• Provide training to clients’ key and end users (Administration)
• Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice

Key Requirements/Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of project experience in implementing software / SaaS technology (Infor M3 or equivalent would be an advantage)
• Database (Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle) knowledge
• Experience with Windows and/or Unix operating systems
• Reliability and deadline-driven approach
• Strong organizational skills & time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team but also self-motivated
• Team player with the ability to build
• strong peer and interpersonal relationships
• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
• Willingness to travel nationally
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
